Promote Student Literacy. Inspire Students to Read
School librarians create a vibrant culture of literacy by teaching critical skills young people need to evaluate and manage information while using innovative technology to share ideas. With a Master of Science in School Library and Information Science with a School Librarian standard certificate from University of Houston-Clear Lake, you’ll become one of your school’s most dynamic educators who will build on the traditional role of nurturing a love for reading, while developing high-quality collections to support the school curriculum and meet student-reading preferences.
