UHCL prof receives top educational administration honor

John Decman, associate professor of educational leadership at University of Houston-Clear Lake, received the Texas Council of Professors of Educational Administration 2019 Educator of the Year award on Jan. 27 at the TCPEA Midwinter Conference in Austin.

Professional Development offers continuing education opportunities to the community through professional development classes. Continuing Professional Education credits, which are approved by the State Board of Educator Certification, can be earned with these classes.

UHCL’s College of Education is divided into four departments that offer undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees as well as post-baccalaureate and teaching minor options. Disciplines range from educational leadership to special education to counseling to curriculum.
